Welcome to the Official Website of Bradley Siegel

There have been Lionel O Gauge Trains passed down in my family for 3 generations. Up until March of 2007, these trains have been in boxes in our basement. One day, I asked by brother if he wanted to set them up. He looked at me and laughed. Little did he, or for that matter, I, know what we had in store for us. First we needed to clear out the space. It had been used for storage for the past dozen years so it was very messy and filled with "stuff". After we got it cleaned up, we needed to build a level table in our crawlspace. The floors were very uneven concrete. The table needed to be sturdy and level. Once we got that done it was time to figure out a track layout. We did not want just a boring circle or oval so we decided to get a little creative. We got a basic oval layout with an inner raised track section of a half-oval. That was cool for beginners, but after a few weeks I decided it needed more. Doug said, "No, it's good the way it is!" I ignored him and we started to plan out a modified layout.  After many trials and errors with layouts, we finished with a very impressive multi-layer track. Our goal was now to get it presentable before our family's annual New Year's Eve party. We made our deadline by a week and a half. Doug was now on his way to KlezKamp a week before New Year's Eve and I was alone with the trains. I then decided to make one more "minor" track modification. I called Doug to tell him and he was leary I would not be able to get it done by our December 31st deadline. I told him I would be able to finish. Thankfully, I was correct. I got it done and that little modification turned out to bring great rewards. Here are some pictures and videos of our train set. Enjoy!
